The Journey Begins

Hey everyone, and welcome to Project Stake, where I’ll be sharing my journey of navigating the Stake.US platform and working towards a winning strategy. This technically isn’t the beginning of my journey, but the blog has to start somewhere.

I’ve known about Global Poker for years but only just recently learned about Stake in 2024 because I became more interested in the Sweepstakes business model. More on that in another article. For a past few months though, specifically since 8/29/2024 I realized that you can not leave any auto strategy to run alone. At some point in time the strategy will fail and wipe out however much you are playing. On top of that even if you are running say a strategy with a 95% win rate the strategy will magically start losing after a few bets, implying there is more to the Random Number Generator (RNG) than meets the eye. I strongly discourage Martingale based approaches as if you need 12 losses in a row to go bust, you will get 16. (don’t worry I have lot’s of examples and statistical data that will be posted in the future)

Anyway this is a longwinded way of saying I realized going completely Auto is not going to work. This is probably a lesson for anyone who wants to invest, “Passive Income” is a myth. You will always have to put in work. It’s just a matter of working smartly and managing your bankroll. This leads me to today’s experiment…

Today’s Experiment: Dice Strategy

Today, I started with $10 in my vault. I ran my dice strategy for about 2.3 hours. By the end of the session, I made a profit of $17.67 before RakeBack and Weekly Rewards. Including those, my total profit is estimated at $19.53. I’m very pleased with this ROI and it has been consistent now for a couple of weeks!

Profit Breakdown:

  • Initial Balance: $10
  • Time Played: 2.3 hours
  • Profit Before Rewards: $17.67
  • Estimated Profit After RakeBack and Weekly Rewards: $19.53

The strategy I used focused on a balanced approach, where I minimized risk while taking small but consistent bets. As always, I’ll share the exact details of this strategy, so you can try it out for yourself if you’re looking for a way to play smart.

ROI could have been higher but I slipped up on set 6. Instead of cutting losses when bet size hit $.4, I let the strategy keep playing and my In-Play amount was quickly wiped out. Luckily by set 6 I had already moved money into the Vault. Set 7 and Set 13 were both losses, but I mitigated those losses by stopping play and resetting bet size or resetting altogether.

Strategy & Gameplay

Progressive Dice Strategy

I had $10 in the vault and this strategy has a 83% chance of success, so yes if I lost I was going to reload. Typically I reload in the morning, playthrough my 3X requirement, then redeem everything from my account. The $10 in this case was from 2 $5 Halloween drops I was able to pick up on Thursday.

Starting Dice Set Up

I moved $8 into play from the Vault. Set my Win Chance to 40% and initial betting amount to $.04. The strategy will auto stop whenever you have 2 wins in a row or you have a Net Gain greater than $.06. This strategy uses a progressive betting approach so your bet size will increase by 50% after a win and will decrease by 83% after a streak of 2 wins.

Once you hit “Start Autoplay” you now have a few jobs:

  1. Make sure your bet size doesn’t exceed 5 or 6 betting levels. In this case that would mean a bet size of $.3 or $.46. It would just be better to accept defeat and reset then watch the algorithm force you to reload.
  2. Press Start when a Conditional Stop has been reached
  3. Reset your Bet Size to $.04 when the Bet size shrinks to less than $.01
  4. After you’ve reached 500 Games (or 10 minutes) take a note break. Check your seed (I like to reset between 500-1500 games. It might be a superstition). If your in-play amount is near double your starting amount move the extra into your Vault.

That’s It. I typically run this strategy with a bet size of $.05 and an In-play amount of $10. I guess I started with $8 to give myself a slight cushion if I got off to a bad start. I suspect this strategy will work well going up the ladder. So I think I might try that.

That’s All for Today

This is just the beginning. I’ll keep sharing the results with full transparency, so you can follow along, try out the strategies yourself, and even share your thoughts or suggestions with me.
