Project Stake: Day 16 – VIP Platinum 1 Achieved

We’ve officially reached VIP Platinum 1! It’s a fairly grueling process when you are slowly grinding it out and trying not to just donate to the site, but it can definitely be accomplished with very little seed money. As you know my strategy so far has been about mitigating risk, playing very small and trying to climb the ladder as quickly using semi-auto strategies. What I’ve learned is that semi-auto really needs to be “barely auto”. I will explain more later. This post I just want to highlight that Platinum was achieved , breakdown what it took to get here from Gold, and my general observations that will be used going forward. Since the amount of weekly and monthly bonus for this level is pretty vague, I’m eager to start calculating the returns to report the estimated percentages.
The Path to Platinum
I guess start with why. Reaching Platinum 1 unlocks higher weekly and monthly bonuses from Stake.US. Upon hitting the milestone you receive an Achievement Bonus, Recent Play Bonus, and daily Reload for 14 days. The Bonuses are available for instant redemption and do not require any playthrough. The Recent Play Bonus seems subjective or is tied to the past couple of days, or the amount that you wager per bet. I couldn’t get an answer from Support on this.

How Much Play Was Required?
Reaching Platinum 1 wasn’t just a matter of time; it required significant deposits and play activity. At least the way I approached the mission. You certainly could have accomplished the feat with fewer deposits, but I was really making the project work with a $300 bankroll. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the journey:
- Total Wagered Amount: $250,000 (from Gold to Platinum 1)
- Total Deposits Made (Tracked): $3,008.95 across 33 deposits
- Total Withdrawals (Tracked): $2,775.49 | After Plat Bonus $3034.49
- Progress Before Tracking Began: 70% progress toward Platinum 1 on 10/10/2024
- Estimated Deposits to Platinum 1 (Extrapolated): ~$10,000
- Estimated Withdrawals to Platinum 1 (Extrapolated): ~$9,250
Why I started this Project
I had climbed to VIP level Gold by 8/26 using winnings from playing the online live roulette and testing out roulette strategies. Ideally I wanted to predict the wheel, accurately target sections, and define appropriate bet sizing increases for optimal return. Long story short, I found some systems that were effective, but when playing live weren’t practical because of how slow the game moves.
Of course I started thinking what if I could automate and this led me to Stake Originals Dice. But I learned the hard way, that automation was also not a viable option… at least not within the Stake.US ecosystem. (*There might be a way to use the API to create a custom Client. Maybe we can explore that down the road.) I would create automation systems that used 80% win chance and martingale type principles which would work and then just stop. After 755,483 automated games played between 8/4/2024 – 8/29/2029 and dumping everything back to Stake I finally accepted that Provably Fair is not Fair. (You can download session data under “Transactions / Game Archives”)
The system would start finding .01% scenarios to clear out my in play balance repeatedly (back to back, every other session, within 50 games to start a session), or conveniently the Client would disconnect from the Server and the Server would place large bets not even defined in the strategy. Of course raising any of these concerns to Support are met with, Sorry and Good Luck. So I took a break and decided to start actively tracking and creating information that could be shared while also trying to find a system that can work… it might not exist on Stake, but maybe could be used somewhere else.
Back to the process. We estimate that the cost of moving from Gold to Platinum 1 with a conservative approach amounts to approximately $750 before factoring in the Achievement Bonus. After knowing what I know now that number can be cut at least in half because I wasn’t using my Gold coins efficiently and I’ve since made adjustments to my Semi-Auto strategies based on observed tendencies of the site. Based on the Achievement Bonus and cost to achieve Platinum, this is most likely a Negative EV endeavor. I will be calculating the approximate bonus percentages in the next couple of months to see if the Rewards were worth the squeeze.
What Bonus Was Received?
Reaching Platinum 1 also came with a tangible reward in the form of an Achievement Bonus and Recent Play Bonus. Here are the details:
- Bonus Received: $200.
- Recent Play Bonus Received: $59 (I think this could be a lot higher if your play size was bigger)
- Reload Incentive: $3/Daily for 14 Days
In consideration of the Recent Play Bonus, there is probably some merit in playing Larger to achieve Platinum faster. The next post will include my recommended Deposit, Playthrough, Gold Dump system and the bet sizes recommended for various deposit amounts.
Reflections on Platinum 1
The climb to Platinum 1 has been a reminder of the importance of discipline and patience in this process. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment, especially during losing streaks, but this milestone reinforces that daily perseverance wins in the end. The game plan hasn’t changed.
The higher VIP level will help us make faster progress toward the balance challenge goals.
What’s Next?
Now that we’ve reached Platinum 1, the next leg of the challenge will be about capitalizing on the new VIP benefits and pushing the boundaries of our strategy. The ultimate goal remains the same: proving that a disciplined, low-risk approach to gameplay can yield sustainable profits over time.
As always, the focus will remain on documenting every step of the journey transparently. If you’re following along, would like to participate in the research, or contribute in some other way please don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay tuned for the revised strategy posts and balance updates.
